The Blind Drummer with Stick Trouble
The boy with stick trouble was 16 year old Barry carter of 7, Orton Road, Warton a member of a newly formed rock 'n' roll band called – Bernie and the Fabulous Photons. All members of the band which formed six weeks ago, are blind and all are being trained at the Blind Institute in Harborne, Birmingham.
Barry, blind since the age of 11 split his drumsticks at the first gig in Smethwick. He is looking forward to the band playing in Warton.
