Backstage at Tamworth Arts Centre at the first Dream Factory gig there on September 9th, 1983.
This was only our second ever gig, the first being at Tamworth Youth Centre about a month or so beforehand, and was a show that ended in a lot of controversy as a load of stupid scooter boys went on the "rampage" outside the Art Centre and smashed lots of windows in shops up and down Lower Gungate. This was something which gave the band an unwanted association with having a violent following and something the Dream Factory always found it difficult, if not impossible, to throw off.
The pic shows Donald Ross Skinner and myself combing my hair in the mirror (once a mod always a…)! No idea who took the photo!
