No.5 - New Metal

Some of the more familiar names on the Tamworth music scene appear within this tree. Tim Latham, Stuart Pickett, Andy Malkin, Dave Ingham and Gary Lancaster - names which appeared in many Tamworth bands and were synonymous with excellent musicianship. Thankfully, they all appeared together at one time in the form of One On One between 1984 and 1986. This tree shows the progression from out 'n' out Heavy Metal through to Tamworth's very own more melodic 'new metal'.
