We practiced and drank Thunderbird with eventually Lee starting to sing some words he'd written. I remember one stupid song called 'Seaside' which we demo'd on a 4-track. I was the sole vocalist after Lee's production work and it proved to be a great laugh to us all. Ashley Smith
As I recall, we wrote no songs under the name 'Frigid Mable…', played no gigs, and just did Bunnymen covers at Spencer’s house. The only contribution to the world was a poster Spence and I did in our Art class, which was proudly displayed in the common room...it also gave the band's full name, which was 'Frigid Mable Meets the Cookie Monsters - Featuring Captain Ash'. Within a fortnight or so, we were called Shrine before all going on to be in Emma Gibbs Loves Badges. Lee Revelle
