Poll of Polls
 The first Musicbox Poll was launched by Sam Holliday
in 1983 barely a couple of months after he first started working at the Tamworth Herald. The Dream Factory won it for the first three years, Dance Stance followed them with two successive victories in 1986 and 1987. The DHSS won in 1988 and Catch 23 in 1989 and finally in 1990 the mighty Wolfsbane deservedly won everything - Top Local Band, Top National Band, Album of the Year and Single of the Year.
Well, here at the History of Tamworth Bands we can create our very own Poll of Polls - yes we have the power to decide who was the best Tamworth band ever, the best local song, the best local gig, best guitarist, vocalist etc. etc. Based on results of Musicbox Polls, historical fact and our own personal opinion, here we go...
